Botox and Juvederm treatments are a natural extension of the cosmetic treatments that dentists provide patients every day.  Dermal filler treatments can be used to correct and improve “gummy” or “droopy” smiles and can minimize wrinkles and other effects of age.

 

 

 

 

Botox can also be used for the treatment of Jaw Tension and TMJ (temporo-mandibular joint) disorders.  This can also often eliminate headaches that result from teeth grinding. Botox is also used to improve “gummy” smiles and can be used around the eyes.

Juvederm is a dermal filler that contains HA (hyaluronic acid) which is a substance that is found in the skin.  HA is depleted with age at the rate of about 1 % for each year of life with about 55% of it being contained in the skin.  HA is critical to the elasticity and fullness of the skin and is what gives the skin it’s youth.  Juvederm treatments can replenish the depletion of HA that is natural in the aging process and can can last up to one year. Juvederm is not used around the eyes and can help treat droopy smiles.
