Raised in North Dakota, Dr. Jack Baldwin would often spend summer time with his brother and parents at their Minnesota lake cabin.  With fond memories of fixing and tinkering with various projects around their summer home, Dr. Baldwin is pleased to call Minnesota his home.

Dr. Baldwin attended the University of Minnesota for both undergraduate and dental schooling.  He graduated from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry.  Since graduation, he has enjoyed working in a practice located in the eastern suburbs of Minneapolis.  He is very excited to now call western Hennepin County home and and he looks forward to calling the Plymouth and Wayzata area his home for years to come.

When not working as a cosmetic dentist, Dr Baldwin enjoys spending time in or on one of the many lakes in the area.  He also enjoys cooking, especially on the grill.

I was born and raised in Rochester, Minnesota.  My father worked for IBM and twice moved for 18 month projects that he was involved in.  The first move was to the San Francisco Bay Area and the second was to Milan, Italy.  However, we always came back to Minnesota.

I attended the University of Minnesota, both as an undergrad and in the School of Dentistry Program.  Upon graduating in 1986, I went out on my own and started Xenium Dental in Plymouth, Minnesota.  After 14 years in that location, we moved in April of 2003 to our new, state of the art facility and renamed the practice Northwoods Dental.

Having grown up on hobby farms and lakes, I have quite an appreciation for Minnesota’s outdoors.  I currently live on a small lake west of Medina with my wife Jennifer and our five children.  The whole family loves to fish, swim, camp, waterski and being outdoors.  I love the fact that many of my dental patients share my love for the outdoors as many of them are from Wayzata, Maple Grove, Minnetonka and other western Hennepin County cities that also have a wealth of outdoor opportunities.
